Spring is my favorite season in NYC. I especially love the trees all over the city with the white blossoms. I am not sure what kind of trees they are, but they are everywhere. This is the East Side; photo taken from the Kips Bay Showhouse. My last apartment in NYC had a wonderful view of flowering trees like this.
And you cannot forget the magnificent tulips on Park Avenue every spring.

SPRING
Everything will be greening up soon.
Hooray!

I just discovered a wonderful new blog via design*sponge. It is called bbbcraft sisters: three sisters living in three cities who are all creative and have a very creative mother, who must have inspired them along the way.
Here, here to mothers.
I have so many glass jars in my laundry room.
I save them for Christmas presents:
to use as containers for spicy nuts and chocolate sauce.
But here is another idea.
Knit a decorative collar
&
a glass jar is transformed.

holy mackerel...
it rained and rained
so glad it wasn't snow.
Spring will be here soon!
The daffodills are begin to pop through the soil.
I forced a few branches... more pictures to follow.
The brook at the bottom of our hill is raging like a river.
and the daylight at 5:00 o'clock is such a delight
