what was i doing 10 years ago?
living in same house
just switched offices (same firm) from nyc to greenwich
working in the suburbs was strange, missed the city, the concrete, the skyscrapers
it was a weird blend of my two worlds - home and work
got over it - listened to lots of great books on tape in the car
got to go to many more events at my daughter's school
worked just 2 days a week - that was nice!
what are five things on my list today
since it is almost bedtime i'm done
snacks
ice cream cones
things i would do if i were a billionaire?
share and give back
ditch the day job
focus on my small business
add a little space to my house
find a cottage by the sea

Fun answers! I lived in the UK,too. I was in London on the staff of King's College London and then in Wales. I miss it every day!
hi meg - when i was 29 i took a year off from my work at a nyc bank and went to london to study art history for the year - it was heaven - one of the best years of my life - studied at the New Academy For Art Studies in Chelsea - wanted to come back and work for one of the auction houses but couldn't find a job that would pay the bills - so kept the day job and pursued the art stuff as an avocation - i miss london too - my husband used to go there for work and my daughter and i would always tag along - but those days are gone - m
