I was going to blog about maypoles today too, but then the day got away from me. And back in April I was thinking that it would be nice to make tussie-mussies to hang on my neighbor's doors for May Day, I forgot about it, I remembered again on Monday, and then forgot all about it again until this afternoon and realized... oops! too late! I really gotta get a handle on my life...
I love this quotation from Swann's Way, by Marcel Proust: Always try to keep a patch of sky above your life... you have a soul in you of rare quality, an artist's nature; never let it starve for lack of what it needs.
So many options for creating a special-one-of-a-kind picture frame. Just e-mail me and we can get started...cut up a uniform, a favorite dress, your own fabric to match your interior decoration...possibilities are endless. click on the tag named monograms also.
Photographs below and the bottom of this page are examples of memento boards created by mrr design. Also called inspiration boards, command station boards, "To Do" boards.
Two boards are shown in situ - full of important stuff!
Two are created from recycled coffee bean bags - there were actual beans in the bottom of the sacks when I received them - and the aroma - heavenly!
The linen was a custom order from a well-known interior designer.
Contact me if you would like a custom board made. Any size, any fabric. You can send fabric and trim. I also have a large selection of grosgrain ribbon and wonderful sources to match your fabric perfectly.

May Day, May Day! Love this post!
I always want to illustrate a May Day Pole like that with children dressed in lovely frocks frolicking!
May Day came and went without me noticing. Per everyone's blog, it's apparently a big deal. Just like me to be focused on Cinco de Mayo!
